I sent you a letter, I thought it’d be better than calling you.”
Eu a ouço TODOS OS DIAS.
Here I stand A heartbroken man I was a bad seed in your future plan When it rains it pours That’s when you hide and close the door I’ll never be the one you wanted
I sent you a letter I thought it’d be better than calling you
I’m missing you I’m the man you never knew Always blue over you And I can’t help it I can not fake it For I still love you
I don’t know you anymore Behind the shell lies something wounded Have you found your superman And does he fit your master plan I feel it hard to search for something new
I sent you a letter I thought it be better than calling you
I’m missing you I’m the man you never knew Always blue over you And I can’t help it I can not fake it For I still love you
I can see the starts above They watch us live They shine upon our fragile lives and cry Can I ask you why we turn our heads the other way And look for something we will never find Imaginary day when pain is washed away Waiting for freedom Give us reason to live Missing you
A hotel where nobody stays A piano that nobody plays Is what my heart feels like Empty room cold dark stairway You left me brokenhearted All alone on the road to somewhere
I’m missing you I’m the man you never knew Always blue over you And I can’t help it I can not fake it For I still love you
I see blue birds of paradise I see sunset to sunrise I watch comets in the sky I see magic flying by I feel my father holding me I feel my spirit learn to breathe I look into my mother’s eyes I know this must be paradise
And I say, oh my, oh my This is paradise I say, oh my, oh my
Thank you for the sunshine Thank you for the light Thank you for the moonshine Thank you for the night Thank you for the big climb Thank you for the fall Thank you for my life Thank you for it all
I run through fields of majesty I run in and out of reality I run back to my enemy I run deep down inside of me I hear whispering in the trees I hear their towering melodies They share their ancient memories They sing we’re all family
And I sing, oh my, oh my This is paradise I sing, oh my, oh my
Thank you for the sunshine Thank you for the light Thank you for the moonshine Thank you for the night Thank you for the big climb Thank you for the fall Thank you for my life Thank you for it all
It’s a beautiful life in the little things So I stand in the light and I see everything My, my, oh, my
Thank you for the sunshine Thank you for the light Thank you for the moonshine Thank you for the night Thank you for the big climb Thank you for the fall Thank you for my life
Thank you for the laughter Thank you for the chance Thank you for the madness Thank you for the dance Thank you for forgiveness And not softening the fall Thank you for my love Thank you for it all Thank you for my life I’m thankful for it all All, all Thankful for it all
She says, “We’ve gotta hold on to what we’ve got. It doesn’t make a difference if we make it or not. We got each other, and that’s a lot for love. We’ll give it a shot!”
Só me restou deixar a emoção atravessar o meu coração. ❤️
